Rachel Casterline - Vocals, Piano and Synth

For starters, I was born in Hornell, New York in 1994, and always had a passion for music and glorifying God. I was raised in church being the daughter, granddaughter and niece of Pentecostal pastors. I moved to Bloomsburg PA in 2001 and have lived here since. I absolutely love to sing and play for the lord and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. My parents have taught me everything I know about music and I now know they must have been training me for what God has planned. I always had a dream of being that ideal worship leader and now I finally have the chance. When you trust in the lord and put everything you have into him there is no doubt that your dreams will come true. 

Testimony time. It is true that when we get older life gets harder and sometimes we just don’t handle things the way we know they should be handled. When it was the time to enter high school and finally start my life things started spiraling downward. I hung out with the wrong people and was influenced in ways I shouldn’t have been. Being raised in church and having a relationship with God meant nothing to me at this point. I didn’t care what people thought of me and since I didn’t think they cared for me I wanted to give up everything, to end it all. When I was at my lowest of lows God brought something to my remembrance, his love. I remembered God loved me no matter how much I screwed up. So after I did some thinking, I decided that God has more for me than what I subjected myself to. Finally I had a real relationship with the lord. Not just the kind you want your parents and everyone to think you have, but a real personal relationship with God. Ever since then things have been amazing. I am being blessed with multiple things and opportunities and I am now a part of an incredible movement of God…Consumed. I thank the lord for everything he has given and will give to me and as my life goes on and I continue to follow in God’s footsteps I will never settle for less.
